PPCS Technician CCAWA training and development

PPCS is very serious about being the very best Technicians we can be.

This is why we have been a member of the Carpet Cleaning Association of WA for a number of years.

One of the many benefits is that the Association holds regular training workshops where we are given the latest industry information, trained in various techniques and processes and learn about the best chemistry available.

It also helps that we have great industry contacts.
This is Everard Paynter, the Director and Head Chemist of Actichem – and also a personal friend of ours.

Everard Paynter from Actichem

Here, at a recent workshop, he’s training us on the correct and appropriate application of some of his excellent products, as well as general chemistry principles.

As part of this relationship, we not only have access to some of the very best cleaning products in the industry (Australian Made too) but we sometimes help Actichem by conducting field trials on their very latest – and sometimes not-yet-released products.

Through this ongoing education and training, PPCS Technicians are able to achieve outstanding results for our clients.

We can do this with confidence and precision and not with the ‘just have a go at it’ approach that some others do.

Carpet Experts

Our staff are highly trained to meet the cleaning needs of different types of carpet, whether natural or synthetic. It is a point of pride that our IICRC certified Technician always cleans to AS/NZS 3733:2018 [Textile floor coverings—Cleaning maintenance of residential and commercial carpeting] to ensure your carpets are cleaned to a trusted and recognised standard. He is also a Registered, Woolsafe Approved Service Provider https://www.woolsafe.org/

Aside from passing the Woolsafe course itself (100% pass mark required), Woolsafe Technicians must have been successfully and professionally cleaning carpets for at least FIVE years to even be allowed to apply for Woolsafe certification.

You can also find us as an approved Service Provider on the Woolsafe app on your smartphone too!
